Ospreys Supporters Club Concert

We opened the evening with ‘Let All Men Sing’ and then continued with ‘Calon Lân’, ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off’, You’ and ‘Y Tangnefeddwyr’. Daniel Davies then sang a beautiful arrangement of ‘This Is The Moment’ from the 1997 Broadway production of Jekyll and Hyde.

We then went on and performed our second set: ‘Cwm Rhondda’, ‘Will Ye Go Lassie Go’ (our irst public performance of this new song), and ‘Gwahoddiad’. After the interval we continued with ‘And Can it Be’, ‘Always On My Mind’, ‘If I Can Dream’ and ‘Rhys’ – we sang this in memory of our Secretary, Alan Clewett, who passes away earlier this week.

For his second solo Daniel performed the lovely song ‘Bring Him Home’ from the 1987 musical ‘Les Miserables’. We then performed our last set ‘There is a Land’, ‘You Are So Beautiful’, ‘Fix You’, and ‘What Would I Do Without My Muisc’. For our final number we joined with the audience incliding members of the OSC choir to sing their anthem ‘Calon Lan’.

The concert raised about £750 for the Ospreys Supporters Club and their charitable work.
