It is with great sadness that we report that on Thursday morning, 13th August 2026, Alan Clewett passed away peacefully in Ty Olwen.

Alan joined the Gwalia Singers over 30 years ago. For many of those years, right up until his passing, he served faithfully and diligently as our Secretary.

Alan was a member of the Baritone section for many years before moving to Bottom Bass for the last 10 years or so.

He was a true stalwart of the choir.  Alan will be remembered for his complete dedication, and his unwavering commitment to the Gwalia Singers.

He will be greatly missed by all his friends in the choir.

Our thoughts are with Carol, his wife, and all his family at this very sad time. Thank you Alan for your commitment and loyalty and for all the memories.
