It was a fun Friday evening at Holy Cross Church Hall! The keen quizzers showed up and once settled in their groups with nibbles and refreshments Quiz Masters Mrs.Wendy Gadd and son Robert took charge of the proceedings on the theme ‘Now and Then’

The first half ran smoothly, and the interval allowed much socialising and refilling of glasses! All the participating groups did really well enjoying the interesting and sometimes challenging questions.

The whole evening was a big success-lots of fun and good humour, raffle tickets and prizes, and good funds raised for the Gwalia Choristers. Many thanks to all who attended and supported, the dynamic Quiz Masters, and Ladies who helped organise everything!

One of our Ladies kindly returned glasses to the wine merchant-but not  everything runs smoothly! Oops! Hilarious! No worries-all resolved!
