Tour to Kilkenny, Ireland.

Thursday 1st October :  

09.00hrs 2 x 53 seater coaches supplied by DJ Thomas will leave from either their depot in Baglan or from Swansea Airport to Fishguard (approximately 2 hours 30mins) Note: The location to where we leave our cars will have to be decided by consensus

On arrival in Fishguard we will board the Stenna Line ferry to Rosslare

14.00hrs  Stenna Nordica departs to Rosslare (Crossing time approximately 3hours 30 min)

17.30 hrs Travel from Rosslare to the Hotel Kilkenny (approximately 1 hour 45 mins)

19.15 hrs Check in and enjoy evening buffet TBC

Friday 2nd October:

Leisurely breakfast

10.30 travel to Birr ( 1 hour 20 mins) for concert

13.00 hr A 1 hour concert has been arranged for the local Rotary Club. Full details to be confirmed

14.00 hrs Afternoon buffet followed by an optional visit around Birr castle or a few jars of the black stuff

16.30 Travel back to hotel

Evening free time Note: Kilkenny centre is approximately 2.0 Kilometres from the hotel

Leisurely breakfast

Free day we until travel to Kilkenny for concert

17.00 hrs Choir to travel by coach to Kilkenny to prepare for the evening concert to raise funds for the Dillon Quirke Foundation work to raise awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) and a local Cancer Charity.

18.00 hrs All remaining members of tour party will travel to Kilkenny for concert

21.00 hrs Return to hotel for a buffet and afterglow with Kilkenny MVC

Sunday 4th October:

Leisurely breakfast

Free day : Possible  local bus trip to be organised TBD

19.00 hrs  Evening get together on last night in Kilkenny TBA

Monday 5th October:

Leisurely breakfast

12.00 hrs Check out and leave hotel TBC

Stop for lunch and walkabout en route back to Rosslare TBA

16.30hrs Leave for Rosslare to board the ferry to Fishguard  

19.30hrs Stenna Nordica departs for Fishguard (Crossing time approximately 3hours 30 min)

23.00hrs Travel back to Swansea or Baglan ( ETA approximately 01.30hrs)
