SUMMARY:Gwalia Singers Rehearsal - (Early for Top Tenors)
DESCRIPTION:Top Tenors – sectional part practice. \nThere is a sectional part practice for the Top Tenors from 6:00 to 7:00.  Our full choir rehearsals start at 7:00pm and finish at 9:00pm. There is a large hall for us to rehearse in as well as other rooms for parts practice.\n\nWe sing some of our songs in Welsh (as well as a few in other languages)\, but most are in English.  The first half of our rehearsal is usually spent learning new items; we call this ‘note bashing’.  After a fifteen minute break we tend to rehearse several pieces from our repertoire in preparation for a forthcoming performance.\n\nFeel free to drop in!  All ages and all abilities are welcome to come and listen and/or join\, especially if you enjoy singing as much as we do!

DESCRIPTION:Spring Into Song – A Two Choir Concert with The Fron and The Gwalia Singers.\n  \nWe are off to Wrexham for the weekend of 25th to 26th April\, 2026\, \n\nWhile there the Gwalia Singers will be performing a joint concert with the Fron Male Voice Choir on Saturday April 25\, 2026 at 19:30\, in the Stiwt Theatre in Rhosllanerchrugog\, Wrexham. \nThe Fron MVC\, from the village of Froncysyllte near Llangollen in N.W. Wales\, were founded in 1947.  They are famous for their set of six CD’s called “Voices of the Valley”. \n🎶 Join us to celebrate spring\,  60 years of Gwalia Singer and 20 years of Voices of the Valley.  Get tickets here.

DESCRIPTION:We are looking forward to going to Cornwall to visit th Mousehole Male Voice Choir.  Mousehole Male Voice Choir is the second oldest Male Choir in Cornwall. \n\nThe Mousehole Male Voice Choir (MVC) rehearses and performs at various venues\, with their main base often being\nSt Pol de Léon’s Church in Paul\, near Mousehole.  The choir was formed in 1909  in an old net loft in  Mousehole for practicing carols\, performs concerts and holds rehearsals at different locations throughout the year. \nDetails to be arranged.
